Samantha Dy, managing partner of Benibana Beauty Hub, shares that she personally drives their employees to clients’ houses to ensure the safety of both client and beauty technician. The staff wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) the whole time they do the treatments.

Celebrity Nails Spa

 

 

Celebrity Nails Spa is known for being the first and only home service spa that covers the entire metropolis. Established in 2007 by Lovella Cantos-Delos Santos, Celebrity Nails offers beauty, wellness, and nail care for men, women, and children.

Their home service menu includes hair care, hair styling with makeup, and hand and foot care. Facial treatments are temporarily on hold.

 Rates are affordable at Php 250 for a manicure, Php 350 for a pedicure, Php 600 for a hair treatment, and Php 3,500 for the traditional hair and makeup package.

 Jean Capistrano, co-founder and franchisor of Celebrity Nails, shares that they have a doctor on call to look after the health of their staff and clients, and they did so even before the pandemic began.

 “Each technician is checked by our doctor through teleconsulting and is given a medical certificate [for clearance],” says Jean.

 They also provide their employees with multivitamins and ensure that all staff wear masks, gloves, face shields, and protective suits when entering a client’s house.

 As a safety and security measure, new customers are required to answer a form prior to any service.

GoodWork.PH

 

GoodWork offers home beauty services such as nail treatments, hair services, massages, and waxing services, in partnership with Lay Bare.

It is also the #1 application for booking home and beauty services in the metro.

“We noticed that our customer base is mostly female, and we know that the beauty industry is huge so we thought of offering beauty and wellness services in the app to cater to that demand,” shares Ayanna, Head of Customer Growth in GoodWork.

Manicure or pedicure services start at 299, while mani-pedi packages are at Php 399. Gel manicure or pedicure is at Php 599, but you pay only Php 1,099 if you get the gel mani-pedi package. Basic haircut for men starts at Php 399 and Php 449 for women. Hair color for women is at Php 2,599, and Php 1,599 for men.

To avail their services, you must download the GoodWork.ph app on Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. On the GoodWork.ph app, select a service, create an account, enter details such as your address and preferred schedule, choose a mode of payment (cash, GCash, credit/debit card, or GrabPay), submit your booking, get matched with a service provider, and enjoy your home service. Payment is only done after the service is completed. Cashless transactions are preferred.

“Our service providers wear full PPE [and] undergo rapid tests for COVID-19 every two weeks, with health certificates. Their temperatures are also checked and [this information is] indicated in the app so the customer can see,” says Ayanna. The client needs to inform them if they are required to secure health permits prior to the service. Clients are asked to wear masks throughout the entire service.

Stud & Sassy Salon

 

Stud & Sassy Salon is an all-in-one salon for couples and families who want to spend quality time together through pampering sessions. They offer home beauty services from haircuts and hair treatments including color, rebond, and perming, to nail care.

Haircut for men starts at Php 550, while haircut with blow-dry for women is at Php 650. Hair treatments are priced at Php 1,000 while a hair-and-make-up package is for Php 3,000. Under Nail Care, cleaning starts at Php 350, gel manicure is at Php 650, and gel pedicure is at Php 750.

“Weekly rapid tests are conducted on our staff, they’re driven by a private car to ensure safety, and all salon equipment is disinfected before and after every customer,” says Ian Cheng, owner of Stud & Sassy Barber Salon. Their employees also wear a PPE during the treatment. Customers are required to answer a health declaration form prior to the visit.

Stud & Sassy accepts cashless payments through bank transfer and GCash. Note that rates may vary depending on how long the service may take, and based on your location.

Azta Urban Salon

 

Azta Urban Salon is renowned for its 17 years of expertise in hairstyling, hair color, and hair treatments. In June, they launched the Azta Salon Community Satellite through which their creative teams visit homes, residential clubhouses, and offices to offer their professional services in a safe manner.

Azta also offers home beauty services such as haircuts, which starts at Php 700 for men and Php 800 for women. Nail spa for the hands costs Php 400 and Php 450 for the feet. Eyebrow threading is at Php 350, hair spa treatment begins at Php 1,000, and hair color is at Php 1,800.

Azta’s staff arrive at your home in a PPE and with a sanitizing kit, including UV boxes and light to guarantee that all equipment is safe to use. Customers are asked to provide a space with proper ventilation for the service.

 Appointments are booked online. You’ll be sent an Azta Customer Handbook with Safe Salon protocol reminders prior to the service. They accept major credit cards and other cashless payment methods like PayMaya and GCash.
