The lockdown has left us with no room for excuses when it comes to our fitness goals, because now we actually have the time, we can't say we have to be somewhere else, and homecooked food is within reach. Huh.

If you need a little motivation to get on your feet and start getting active, look to these TV personalities – with kids, mind you -- and you'll surely find your reason. Their fit and fab physique will inspire you to work out!

Ellen Adarna

Ellen Adarna, who topbills TV5’s new Sunday night sitcom “John en Ellen,” started doing workouts just one year and three months after giving birth to her son Elias. Because she was breastfeeding, she didn’t want to restrict her diet, so she chose to delay her fitness track for the sake of her child.

Within two months of resuming her exercise routine, Ellen managed to lose the post-pregnancy pounds.

Ellen was diagnosed with anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress following her father’s death, which was aggravated by her unhealthy relationships in the past. She leveraged on these difficulties to come back stronger, with the help of a mental health training journey in Bali, Indonesia.

Ellen’s current workout routine involves her favorite cardio exercise using the jump rope. Watch how Ellen works the rope below:

Aside from the jump rope, Ellen has also discovered the ‘Rope Flow’ workout, and a flow rope was even named after her as part of a fundraising activity for abandoned kids. According to Luke Jones of Hero Movement, “Rope flow is an excellent way to practice using both sides of the body, and to mimic athletic movement patterns.” Learn more about the Rope Flow workout here.

Aubrey’s Instagram account is filled with home workout videos that she and her partner, actor Troy Montero, do together. Their goal is to stay focused and fit at home even during the lockdown. Each video also contains motivational quotes that will make you want to get out of bed and start moving.

Hideo Muraoka

You may not know his name, but you’ll surely recognize Brazilian-Japanese model Hideo Muraoka’s face as he has been featured not only in numerous lifestyle magazines but also on fashion runways. With a physique like his, there’s no need to wonder why. Hideo is into yoga, as well as calisthenics and martial arts.
