Ellen Adarna, who topbills TV5’s new Sunday night sitcom “John en Ellen,” started doing workouts just one year and three months after giving birth to her son Elias. Because she was breastfeeding, she didn’t want to restrict her diet, so she chose to delay her fitness track for the sake of her child.
Within two months of resuming her exercise routine, Ellen managed to lose the post-pregnancy pounds.
Ellen was diagnosed with anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress following her father’s death, which was aggravated by her unhealthy relationships in the past. She leveraged on these difficulties to come back stronger, with the help of a mental health training journey in Bali, Indonesia.
