If there’s one thing we discovered during the pandemic, it’s the fact that it’s possible to binge-watch a whole Netflix series in one sitting. We’ve all become hooked on a show at some point in the quarantine, be it a K-drama, a reality show, or a kilig series. Here’s some good news: the streaming giant has more content in store for us!

During their first-ever global fan event called “TUDUM, which took place on September 26, Netflix revealed first looks and exclusives about their upcoming drops, including brand new seasons of Bridgerton, Stranger Things, and Sex Education.

As if we don’t already have a long list of shows on our list, here are six more upcoming shows we’re excited to see!

The Sandman

The Sandman is a brand-new Netflix series based on Neil Gaiman’s comic book series published from 1989 to 1996. Created for DC Comics, it tells the story of Dream, the king of stories and ruler of his kingdom called the Dreaming, who was captured and held captive for 105 years. He escapes in 2021 and vows to do everything to restore his kingdom.

The film, which stars Tom Sturridge (known for his role as Roger Gosselyn in the 2004 comedy-drama “Being Julia”) and Gwendoline Christie a.k.a Game of Thrones’ Brienne of Tarth, is coming soon!


We all know that Korean film production is always topnotch, which is why we’re super excited for Netflix’s new horror series, Hellbound, which was based on a webtoon of the same name. If you like supernatural creatures and monsters wreaking havoc in the city, you’ll definitely enjoy this one!

The series is set to drop on November 19 this year, featuring Chicago Typewriter’s Yoo Ah-in and Entourage’s Park Jeong-min.

“Inside Job” was created by the minds behind “Gravity Falls” and “Regular Show.” It’s about a shadow government and a dysfunctional team whose jobs revolve around the world’s conspiracy theories.

If you need a good laugh after a stressful day, join anti-social tech genius Reagan Ridley (voiced by Lizzy Caplan of “Now You See Me 2) on her adventures at the eccentric and quirky company, Cognito Inc.

Don’t Look Up

Who knew we would see so many iconic actors all in one film? Yup, Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Chris Evans, Rob Morgan, and more big names will be in the upcoming science fiction black comedy movie “Don’t Look Up,” which is set for release in December 2021!

The story is about two low-level astronomers who try to warn mankind about an approaching comet that will destroy the planet. However, they must convince the people in power first.


If you love playing League of Legends, here’s one series you’ll love. The creators of the online video game produced an animated series called “Arcane,” which is set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun. It tells the origins of two League champions, and how power can tear them apart. Stream “Arcane” starting November 2021!

Bridgerton Season 2

The sophomore season of the hit series will feature Sex Education’s Simone Ashley as an addition to the cast. To keep fans excited, the show’s Nicola Coughlan advised them to “prepare thyself” for all the juicy revelations this season will bring! The new season arrives 2022!

Stranger Things Season 4

After the last season’s premiere two years ago, Stranger Things is finally coming back to our small screens in 2022! We can expect that the main cast will still be in the fourth season, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin.

Sex Education Season 4

The release of Sex Education’s third season has definitely made fans want more--and the streaming giant listened, because this hit series has been renewed for another season!

There aren’t any details yet about when we can expect the fourth season, but we will surely be waiting!
